In the 1980s, Rua da Felicidade had a very special story. In 1984, a German named Harald Bruning and the then Municipal Council of Macau rescued an around-1-year-old Asiatic black bear from a restaurant. Since then, this Asiatic black bear started its real life in Macao. For more than 30 years after this incident, it has been living in Flora Garden and staying together with Macao citizens. It has become a beloved company for Macao people and this Asiatic black bear was later on named BOBO by the Macao people.
